Ice Cream Scent Powder Odor Remover, Dual-Function of Fragrance Masking & Physical Adsorption for Rubber & Plastics

A new ice cream scented powder odor remover has been released. It is a dual-function powder additive combining fragrance masking and physical adsorption, specially developed for plastic and rubber systems. Adopting porous powder carrier loaded with compound ice cream fragrance, it releases soft sweet aroma to cover foul and irritating odors generated by substrates and additives decomposition. Meanwhile, the porous carrier physically adsorbs odor molecules, rapidly improving the olfactory experience of finished products, and it is compatible with conventional rubber and plastic molding processes.

Different from pure chemical deodorants, this product features instant sensory improvement. Finished articles carry mild sweet ice cream aroma which can be smelled right after opening the package, quickly masking pungent smells from resin matrix, plasticizers, vulcanizing agents and other processing additives. The carrier particle size is well controlled. It disperses well under normal high-speed mixing, hardly causing white spots or agglomeration defects.

The powder enjoys good compatibility. It can be dry-blended directly with polymer pellets without changing the main formulation. Note that it contains no lubricant or anti-block components, so it will not improve melt flow or demolding performance, which fits production lines where rheological parameters are not expected to be adjusted. It is widely compatible with general plastics, common engineering plastics and rubber products.

Applicable substrates: PVC, PE, PP, ABS, PA6, PET, PS, PVDC, rubber seals and other general & engineering plastics, rubber goods. Applicable processes: pelletizing, injection molding, blow molding, extrusion, calendering, foaming and other mainstream rubber & plastic processing technologies.

Recommended dosage: 0.2%–0.4% by weight of total rubber & plastic raw materials, 200–400 g per 100 kg feedstock. 0.2–0.25% for slightly odorous products; 0.3–0.4% for heavy odor or stronger aroma demand. Higher processing temperature accelerates fragrance loss, so dosage needs to be increased properly. Add it directly during mixing, high-speed homogenization before extrusion and injection molding.

Important notes: This product mainly works by fragrance masking, with limited effect on removing odor molecules. For products requiring low VOC testing, please select model 400S physical adsorption type odor remover. Long-term processing temperature should not exceed 320°C; excessive heat will trigger heavy fragrance volatilization and odor rebound. Avoid contact with oily or aqueous liquid materials during storage and pre-mixing to prevent premature fragrance loss. Store sealed in cool and dry place, away from sunlight and high temperature. Pilot test is required before mass production to confirm aroma strength and appearance. Technical support is available for formulation and process issues.
